The Dauphin RCMP have charged Paul Davies Pratt of Pine River after a hit and run on Monday.
The RCMP news release says they responded to a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle around 2:25 AM on Monday near Pine River. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital in Winnipeg in critical conditon, and remains in hospital.
The incident took place on Second Ave. The driver of the vehicle left the scene, and was located hours later and arrested. He is charged with failing to stop after accident resulting in bodily harm, impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, and failing to comply with demand (alcohol). He is still in custody.
