A 32-year-old female faces charges after attempting to grab an RCMP officer's gun.

A 36-year-old male also faces charges. On Sunday at 11:30 a.m., Winnipegosis RCMP responded to a disturbance at a home in the RM of Mossey River. When officers arrived, they saw a vehicle in the driveway with all of its windows smashed.

They entered the home and took the man into custody. As they attempted to exit the building, the female pushed the door into the two officers, then tried to grab the gun.

The 36-year-old man, meanwhile, faces charges of assault and mischief over $5,000. The 32-year-old faces charges of resisting arrest, disarming a police officer, and assaulting a police officer, among others. 

Both appeared in court earlier this week and were released.
