An investigation has begun after six people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Ebb and Flow First Nation.

On Saturday night at 7:15, Ste. Rose RCMP responded to the collision between an SUV and a side-by-side. It happened at the intersection of Lake Road Northeast and Point Road South.

A 17-year-old male passenger on the side-by-side was transported to the hospital in Winnipeg by air ambulance. A 21-year-old female who was driving the side-by-side was taken to the hospital in Dauphin. She was then transported to Winnipeg for further treatment.

Three other passengers on the side-by-side, an 18-year-old female, an 11-year-old female, and a one-year-old girl, were treated and released from the hospital in Dauphin.

The driver of the SUV, a 34-year-old female, fled the scene on foot. She was located at a nearby home and transported to the hospital in Dauphin for treatment. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
