A water line break on Wednesday in the McCreary public water system has led the province to issue a boil water advisory for the system.
They say the break resulted in a loss of water pressure in the system. which can compromise the safety of the water supply.
Until further notice, all water used for consumption should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before it is used.
This includes for drinking, ice making, and preparing baby formula, preparing food, and brushing teeth.
It is not necessary to boil tap water used for other household purposes, such as laundry or washing dishes.
