There's two seasons in Canada: Winter and Construction. Everybody knows the saying, but now that we're nearing the end of the Construction season, a major road repair project is set to get underway in Swan River.
Main St, between 9th Ave North and PTH 10/83 Intersection will be closed from September 21st to 24th for repairs.
During the construction, the Town asks you to use 9th Ave N, 1st St N, and Highway 10 as a detour.
Qwik Stop, McDonalds, Subway, and Thunderhill Motel are still accessible from the Highway 10 Intersection, and No Frills, Swan Valley Health Centre, Giant Tiger, KFC, Valley Dental Studio, Swan Valley Collision and Glass, Shivers, Dufresne, Friendship Centre, NAPA, Fast Gas, A&W and Home Hardware are accessible from 9th Ave.
