Dauphin RCMP responded to a disturbance on September 15th around 10:45 PM, involving a man who assaulted a woman and stole a gaming console.
The man, wearing a black mask and clothing, entered the woman's residence unannounced, and physically assaulted her. Then he unplugged a gaming console and left.
The victim was treated at the scene for her injuries. The suspect, who is known to the victim, was identified and arrested on September 16th, with assistance from RCMP Police Dog Services.
He is charged with several offences, including assault, break and enter, and robbery. He was remanded into custody.
