Rossburn's annual Town Wide Yard Sale is set to officially start on Saturday, but you can expect to see sales pop up all of this weekend.
Kelly Hunter, Executive Director of the Rossburn Chamber of Commerce, said it's usually well received, and though the official date is Saturday, when people choose to hold their sales is very dependent on the weather.
"Some start on Thursday, some start on Friday, some start on Saturday, just seems to depend...I had talked to a few people yesterday and they're still debating if they're going to have [their sale] Satuday because it's supposed to be a little nicer, or less rain on Saturday," said Hunter.
Officially, they only have 1 yard sale registered. Hunter said that happens every year, where there are a lot more sales than actually registered. The official date and registration is more of a formality in that sense. She still does recommend registering, so that your yard sale is shared to their Facebook page.
"If people want to register, we list their addresses on our Facebook page, or if we have enough we'll make a map, but lots of people just wait to see on the weather so they don't like to register," said Hunter.
All this weekend, you can expect to see yard sales all over Rossburn. If you're in the mood to hunt for some deals, it's a great destination.
