Today is the last day to sign up for the Dauphin Friendship Centre's Family Feud Night next Wednesday.
Event organizer Jarri Thompson says familes of 4-6 are encouraged to sign up, and wear a matching theme.
"Throughout the past couple of months, we've encouraged familes to sign up," Thompson said.
Though even if you don't sign up to play, you're more than welcome to show up and cheer on the competitors.
"The community is invited, if they're playing or not, to go ahead, come out and watch," said Thompson.
Thompson said she expects the event to be a lot of fun for everyone involved.
"I'm hoping a lot of laughs, a lot of fun," said Thompson.

A Dauphin woman has been sentenced following two traffic stops in Dauphin last year.
In January, they seized crystal meth, cocaine, and various prescription drugs. As a result, they arrested 30-year-old Angel Chartrand. She was in a Dauphin courtroom on Tuesday.
She received a conditional sentence of 562 days, to be served in the community. Two weeks after the first bust, police conducted another traffic stop, and seized oxycodone, crystal meth, cocaine, codeine, and cash.
Chartrand had pled guilty to both busts.

Swan River Town council continued its lobbying efforts with the province last week with regards to several highway improvement projects in the Swan Valley.
They met with provincial Transportation and Infrastructure minister Lisa Naylor, with the intersection of highways 10 and 83 among the major topics of discussion.
Plans originally called for a round about at that intersection, but council has stated recently that they are against that plan.
Naylor informed council that the plan is going back to the drawing board and that alternative options will be looked at.
The province also committed to a traffic count on Main Street this summer to help determine pedestrian safety needs, as well as a site visit in May to look at resurfacing needs along Main Street and along the community's highway entrances.
They also stated that upgrades to the Ditch Road renewal project are still in the province's five year capital plan.

The Yellow Warning for Snowfall continues today for all of Southern and Western Manitoba.
Environment Canada says we could see 15 to 25 cm of snowfall by time the system clears out tomorrow morning, with higher terrain in the Parkland and along the Manitoba escarpment seeing as much as 30 cm.
As for school bus cancellations this morning, Mountainview School Division has cancelled all rural buses, but the three inner city routes are still running and all schools are open.
Swan Valley School Division has also cancelled all of their buses today, but their schools will be open.
And Park West and Turtle River School Divisions have boith cancelled all buses and closed all of their schools for today.

Dauphin Citizens on Patrol is hosting a Community Safety Presentation on Wednesday.
There is set to be a presentation on what Citizens on Patrol does in the community, followed by a personal alarm giveaway.
"We purchased a bunch of personal alarms, just to enhance personal safety in and around the community," said Ives.
Richard Ives, COPP Coordinator for Dauphin, says that if you can't attend, don't worry.
"We want to try and hold a couple of these different presentations, so if you can't make it out on Wednesday or you're unsure, stop by, we're gonna probably have some other events down the road," said Ives.
The presentation will take place at the Dauphin Active Living Centre at 4:15 p.m.

The hunt for 37-year-old Matthew Govereau has ended.
He was arrested in Winnipeg on Saturday and faces 18 charges in relation to a Canada Day crash that killed three people.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The RCMP are looking for a Winnipeg man who killed three people on Canada Day.
On July 1, Swan River RCMP responded to a head-on collision on Highway 10, near Road 224 North. He was driving when his vehicle veered over the centre line of the highway and struck a parked vehicle on the opposite shoulder.
A 42-year-old male and a 31-year-old female, who were in the parked vehicle, were both transported to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
A 29-year-old, who was a passenger in Matthew's vehicle, was also transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
He faces 18 charges, including impaired driving causing death times three, possessing a prohibited weapon, and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death times three, among a slew of others.

Over two years after a man died after being attacked outside of the Swan River EMS building, one of the accused in the case is still going through the court system.
42-year-old Tyrone Guiboche faces a charge of manslaughter in the case.
He appeared in Swan River court last week, with his matters put over until March 4th.
And another court appearance has also been made by a man, charged in connection with a historical sexual assault in western Manitoba.
65-year-old Vincent Tacan is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in 1984.
His matters were adjourned to March 11.

Winter is set to return with a vengeance this week.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for all of southern Manitoba and most of Eastern Saskatchewan.
They say a strong low pressure system will bring 15 to 25 cm of snow beginning Tuesday night, and eventually tapering off Wednesday evening.
Gusty winds are also expected to give poor visibility on highways during this snowfall, and create hazardous driving conditions.

Several communities in the Parkland will be marking Louis Riel Day on Monday by hosting events.
Here in Dauphin, the Northwest Métis Council is hosting an event at the Métis Community Centre in Dauphin from 11 to 5, which includes a hot dog lunch, kids activities, entertainment, and a cribbage tournament.
Similar activities will take place at the Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre in Swan River from 11 to 3, while in Ochre River there will be skating, a wiener roast and hot chocolate at the outdoor rink between 1 and 3.
In Roblin, there will be a jigging demonstration, wagon rides, face painting, and an artisan showcase at the Roblin Community Centre between 11 and 4.
And, at the New Horizons Centre in Laurier, there will be sleigh rides, hot dogs and hot chocolate between 1 and 4 on Monday.
The day recognizes Louis Riel, the former leader of the Métis, who founded Manitoba in 1870.

Preparations are well underway for the 2026 edition of Farm Outlook.
The one-day ag conference takes place March 10th at the Parkland Rec Complex.
Co-chair Chad Sahulka says their speakers will touch on all facets of the local agriculture industry.
"There will be an economic and marketing outlook, which as always, is a big part of our industry. Some agronomy, innovation, and crop management discussion. There will be some pieces on risk management and navigating some of the uncertainty in today's agriculture. And also some industry trends shaping up for 2026 and beyond. And something else that we are putting on this year is a speaker on human resource opportunities and how we are going to fill some of these gaps in the industry."
The day will also be highlighted by the presentation of the Ron Brook Memorial Award by the Dauphin Ag Society.
Admission for the event is $20, which includes lunch.
